Yamaha FZ250 Beyond Clutch
Classification:
Details
The wedge clutch uses a specially shaped wedge block instead of rolling pins as the wedging component. It is a type of clutch that consists of a wedge block and inner and outer raceways forming a friction pair. Torque can only be transmitted when there is no relative motion between the inner ring, outer ring, and wedge block, with the same direction of rotation and equal rotational speed; otherwise, there will be relative sliding. This sliding state, which does not transmit torque, is called overrunning. The wedge overrunning clutch mainly includes basic type, no inner ring type, and bearing type.
