The ignition system mainly consists of a power supply, ignition coil, distributor, ignition switch, spark plug, additional resistor and its short-circuit device, high and low voltage wires, etc. AC CDI igniters and voltage doubling AC igniters utilize the principle of energy storage in capacitors and the instant discharge of thyristors to output extremely high ignition voltage. The high voltage AC pulse electricity output by a magneto is referred to as an AC-CDI igniter, which is used in conjunction with a CDI high voltage package suitable for pulse high voltage.
