The motorcycle magneto is a small alternator, mainly used to start motorcycles and as an ignition power source in the ignition system of gasoline engines. Its working principle is to generate a magnetic field by energizing, so that the rotor starts to rotate, and then drives the wheel to rotate. The method of controlling the speed is by adjusting the size of the resistor. The motorcycle magneto ignition system is composed of a switch, an ignition coil, a circuit breaker, a capacitor, a distributor, and a safety discharge device. The high voltage will be distributed to the spark plugs of each cylinder.

The working principle of motorcycle magneto is relatively simple, but it plays a vital role in practical application. It uses a permanent magnet to generate a magnetic field, and a current is generated by rotating the magnet, thereby generating a magnetic field. When current passes through the wire, the magnetic field will interact with the current in the wire, generating an electromotive force, which in turn drives the rotor to rotate.
