2. Check and clean the motor terminals. Check whether the terminal box wiring screws are loose or burned.
3. Check the screws of each fixing part, including anchor screws, end cover screws, bearing cover screws, etc. Tighten the loose nut.
4. Check the transmission device, check whether the pulley or coupling is bold, damaged, and whether the installation is firm; Whether the belt and its coupling buckle are in good condition.
5. The starting equipment of the motor should also clean the external dust and dirt in time, wipe the contacts, and check whether there are burn marks in each wiring part and whether the grounding wire is in good condition.
6. Bearing inspection and maintenance. Bearings should be cleaned after a period of use, and grease or lubricating oil should be replaced. The time of cleaning and oil change should be determined by the working conditions of the motor, the working environment, the degree of cleanliness, and the type of lubricant. Generally, every 3-6 months of work should be cleaned and the grease should be changed again. When the oil temperature is high, or the motor with poor environmental conditions and more dust should be cleaned and changed frequently.
7. Inspection of insulation. The insulation capacity of the insulating material varies with the degree of drying, so it is very important to check the drying of the motor winding. The motor working environment is humid, the working room has corrosive gas and other factors, will destroy the electrical insulation. The most common is the winding grounding fault, that is, insulation damage, so that the live part and the casing should not be charged metal parts of the collision, the occurrence of this fault, not only affect the normal operation of the motor, but also endanger personal safety. Therefore, the motor in use, should always check the insulation resistance, but also pay attention to check the motor shell grounding is reliable.
8. In addition to the regular maintenance of the motor according to the above items, it should be overhauled after one year of operation. The purpose of overhaul is to carry out a thorough and comprehensive inspection and maintenance of the motor, supplement the missing and worn components of the motor, completely eliminate the dust and dirt inside and outside the motor, check the insulation, clean the bearings and check their wear.
