The wedge overrunning clutch uses a special-shaped wedge instead of a roller as a wedge. It is a clutch that uses a wedge and inner and outer raceways to form a friction pair. When there is no relative movement between the inner ring, the outer ring and the wedge, the steering is the same, and the speed is equal, the torque can be transmitted, otherwise it is relative sliding. This sliding state that does not transmit torque is called overrunning. The wedge overrunning clutch mainly has basic type, no inner ring type and bearing type.
